Hi, I’m Canaan

10 + years in 2D Animation.

Worked from commercial animation, then on to TV series work, both 2D rigged animation and traditional 2D animation, with some FX and character design mixed in there.
I’ve worked with multiple studio’s and teams throughout my career. Most of my work is with 12Field Animation (whom rock), where I did my first series type project as a character animator, and progressed on to Directing the Animation team for ‘The Strange Chores’ series.

My heart is in character animation, and my main focus is on creating character performances that you feel, or that make you feel (whether that be exciting, or heartfelt or blown away; whatever the story needs).

I want to keep making more and more excellent animation and have secretly begun developing a few ideas for TV series and film.
